Not at all. When paired with standard, eco-safe athletic field paints, the application is completely harmless to natural grass, synthetic turf, and the environment. The paint simply coats the grass blades and will naturally disappear as the turf is mown or grows out.

On high-maintenance turf like golf course fairways or tees that are mown daily, the crispness will typically last 2 to 4 days depending on growth and mowing schedules. On rough, lawns, or sports fields with higher cut heights, applications can remain highly visible for up to a week or more.

Our stencils are precision laser-cut from premium, heavy-duty Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic (typically 60 mil thickness). This material is flexible enough to contour to the ground, heavy enough to sit flat against the wind, and completely reusable—simply wipe or rinse off excess paint after use.
